“A Pomegranate Garden”

Together with Swiss artist Nives Widauer, we developed a communicative – yet protected – installation in the Viennese streetscape for encounters, talks, and performative events under the open sky. The topic is the history and symbolism of the pomegranate, a fruit which stands for the dialogue between cultures.

Its unique form, color, and inner nature made the pomegranate a symbol for love, fertility, wisdom, and beauty in many cultures. Precisely these themes should be readable in the abstract architectonic concept. A temporary space for encounters.
